Esta playa está en el parque rural de Anaga, en el norte de la isla de Tenerife, junto con la de Almáciga y Benijo, forman el conjunto de playas más conocido de la zona. La arena es negra y dependiendo de las mareas, tiene más ó menos. No tiene duchas, ni hamacas ni ningún tipo de servicios, lo que si hay es varios Restaurantes muy cerca.
